On 24 April 2025, at the AAADMD headquarters, the installation ceremony for the new Board Member of the Atlantic Association for the Support of Machado-Joseph Patients was held for the 2025-2028 four-year period.
With the general composition of the Governing Bodies being maintained, this symbolic moment reaffirms the collective commitment to the Association's mission and the continuity of the work carried out in favour of Machado-Joseph patients and their families.
The new board, once again led by Sérgio Paulo Ferreira Faria, has renewed its commitment to continuing the work it has done, reinforcing its commitment to the institutional values and to promoting the rights and well-being of the people it serves.
The ceremony took place in an atmosphere of closeness and trust, strengthening ties between members and leaders and signalling the start of a new cycle of responsible continuity and renewed commitment to the cause that unites the Association.
