Social
support

The Social support service ensures that users have access to all the rights and support provided for in the legislation in force to guarantee their well-being and a better quality of life. This is done through appointments and home visits to users and their families and/or informal carers, as well as through contacts / partnerships / meetings between the technical team and other organisations.

Psychological
support

The psychological support service provides individualised psychological support and accompaniment to patients, their families and/or informal carers. This is done through appointments and home visits to users and their families and/or informal carers, psychological assessment, crisis intervention, group intervention dynamics, as well as referrals to other services.

Support line

The telephone helpline is manned by the technical team and allows any user (or potential user), family member and/or informal carer to easily access the information they require. It operates from Monday to Friday from 9am to 5pm on (+351) 296 281 628 or (+351) 961 103 832.

Motor Skills Classes

They aim to maintain users' physical condition, working on their main motor and mobility difficulties and promoting group dynamics.

Movement at home

This consists of monthly home visits by the physiotherapist to users who do not attend the CAARPD activity centre in order to check on their well-being, mobility and muscle strength, as well as assigning exercises for them to perform at home.

Activity
Centre

The Activity Centre promotes the development of users' personal and social skills through recreational and thematic activities, information, awareness and prevention sessions and motor skills classes. Its activities are preferably developed in conjunction and in partnership with other organisations.
