AAADMJ's Christmas lunch

The Associação Atlântica de Apoio aos Doentes de Machado-Joseph (AAADMJ) held its traditional Christmas lunch, bringing together users, family members, collaborators, partners and associates for a moment of sharing and celebration.

The event was attended by public and private entities, including Dr. Andreia Vasconcelos, Regional Director of Social Solidarity, Dr. Cristina Canto Tavares, Councillor of the Ponta Delgada City Council, and Dr. Sara Raquel Sousa, Councillor of the Nordeste City Council, as well as representatives of ESMI Azores and the Genetics Service of the Divino Espírito Santo Hospital.

This was a moment to thank the staff and volunteers whose support and dedication make AAADMJ's mission possible. A special word of thanks went to the users and their families for their strength and inspiration.

The Association's Board also highlighted the values of solidarity and unity that guide its work and its commitment to providing increasingly personalized and quality support to users.

With wishes for a Merry Christmas and a 2025 full of new opportunities, the Association reinforces its commitment to continue working for a more inclusive and just society.
